Training
Red Wire Technologies (RWT) has years of experience in SDR, embedded Linux, and low level hardware control. RWT has led short workshops at conferences including GNU Radio Conference for embedded SDR overviews. RWT can provide training in a number of areas in support of your team developing a better understanding of embedded SDR uasge and capabilities. RWT will customize training to meet the needs of your team and time available. Training areas include custom Linux distribution creation and modification, low level radio control, and GNU Radio development and usage with embedded SDRs. Training in multiple areas can be condensed into a single training event.
Custom Linux
RWT has extensive experience using Yocto/OpenEmbedded to create custom Linux distributions for a number of hardware platforms, inlcuding our embedded SDR radios, as well as other commerical hardware. RWT uses this extensive experience to teach classes in an applied process specifically targeting embedded SDRs. The training can be customized for other types of development and hardware based on customer needs.
GNU Radio
RWT staff have been using and developing GNU Radio for over 15 years, and we use that knowledge base to provide GNU Radio training. We have developed multiple out-of-tree modules, and implemented custom and commercial waveforms. Our training can include generic GNU Radio training or can be customized to focus on Embedded SDRs and GNU Radio.
